House of Representatives member-elect for Moro/Patigi Federal constituency, Ahmed Abubakar Ndakene has urged Muslims faithful to tap into the treasures of the holy month and also pray for the success of the incoming administration at both state and federal level.
Ndakene while addressing journalist in Ilorin said “The holy month of Ramadan is here again beckoning on all Muslim faithfuls to tap from the unending fountain of Almighty Allah’s treasure, pleasure and divine mercies. Ramadan transcends worship rites and abstinence from eating and drinking. Indeed, it is a period for spiritual rebirth and reflection on Allah’s magnanimity. It is in His wisdom that we have been kept not only amongst the living, but worthy of accessing means of sustenance and well being”.
Therefore, in the spirit of the holy month of Ramadan, Ndakene called on all his constituents, other Muslim faithfuls in Kwara state and Nigeria at large to submit to Allah in prayers and complete supplication, so that He will shower His divine mercy on our dear nation.
Ndakene also stressed that we need God to continue to guide us as we grapple with the tasks of alleviating poverty, unemployment, insecurity and other challenges facing the country. It is pertinent that we redirect our spiritual energy towards sustaining peace and unity, strengthening our cohesion and maximising the strength in our diversity. We have no other place to call home.
While rounding up his greetings, he prayed that Allah in His infinite mercy accept all our supplication in this Ramadan and sprinkle the entire space of our constituency with His benevolence.
“I wish our land perpetual peace and prosperity” he concluded.
