Afrobeat acts Davido and Burna Boy have each snagged four nominations at the 2023 Trace Awards.

Both acts were nominated in the ‘Best Male’, ‘Song of the Year’, ‘Best Live’, ‘Best Collaboration’, ‘Best Artist’, and ‘Album of the Year,’ categories of the award show set for October 21, 2023, at the BK Arena, Kigali, Rwanda.

Organizers of the show released the full list of nominees on their official website Monday.

Mr Macaroni Rejoices As He Bags Brand Ambassadorial Deal, Receives New Car

Nigerian comedian Adebowale “Debo” Adedayo, known by his stage name Mr Macaroni is ecstatic as he bags ambassadorial deal with an automobile company, also received a brand new car.

The comedian took to his Instagram page to make the announcement as he showed off the car he had received as part of the contract.

Mr Macaroni disclosed that he signed a deal with @mikanomotors.

Photos shared on his social media page shows him besides the breath-taking black suv car.

Sharing the images, he wrote…

“I just signed a new deal with @mikanomotors and it came with this Beauty!!!! 😍❤️😍❤️”

Taking to her X page formerly known as Twitter, the reality star expressed her frustration after being billed N120,000 for a makeup session.

Ilebaye, in a now-deleted Twitter post, conveyed her discontent by linking the elevated price to her newfound wealth.

She highlighted the consequences of her victory and heightened fame, stating, “Because I won 120 million, someone charged me 120k for makeup.”

In an interview, the actress, who turned 45 in February, stated that her marriage to Captain Matthew Ekeinde has lasted because she does not stand shoulder-to-shoulder with her husband.

She went on to say that if a woman submitted to her man, he would respect her. And that women should not claim equality with their male counterparts.

During the interview, the actress, who began having children at the age of 19, stated that she does not go to the market to buy food for her family. Her husband is usually the one who goes out and buys everything for the house.

She attempted to go once but her husband warned her never to follow him again because of the attention and crowd that surrounded her when they sighted her.
