The National Coordinator and chief executive of the National Social Investment Programme Agency (NSIPA), Mrs Halima Shehu, has suspended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Channels Television reported that Tinubu immediately approved her suspension and ordered her replacement.
Shehu was suspended three months after the Senate confirmed her appointment for the position.
The suspended NSIPA boss had worked as the National Coordinator of the Conditional Cash Transfer Programme, where she saw to the programme’s digitalisation using her banking and career expertise.
Shehu worked at the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development from 2017 to 2022.
