President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State, on Thursday evening, met at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Fubara reportedly arrived alone around 5:35 pm for the closed-door meeting held in Tinubu’s office.
The governor and his benefactor, Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), have not been on good terms in the last few months.
Wike’s loyalists have since withdrawn their support for Fubara, and up to 10 have resigned their positions in his government.
