President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is in a bilateral meeting with Antony Blinken, the United States Secretary of State, who reportedly landed in Nigeria on Tuesday during his four-nation African tour.
Aside from Nigeria, Blinken will visit Ivory Coast, Cape Verde, and Angola as he seeks to reinforce his country’s commitment to stronger relations with democracies in the subregion amid global crises.
The US revered diplomat was received around 6.55 p.m. at the forecourt of Tinubu’s office.
Blinken was received by Femi Gbajabiamila, the Chief of Staff to the President, Mohammed Idris, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Information and National Orientation, Dele Alake and Minister of Solid Minerals Development.
