Kwara State House of Assembly has aligned with the decision of Kwara State Government to award the rehabilitation and rebuilding contract of Kwara Hotel to a competent contractor against the concession to Crystal Group of Company.

This was part of the resolutions of the House after considering a Matter of General Public Importance moved by House Leader, Hon. Magaji Oba Abdulkadir during today’s sitting.

Hon. Oba-Abdulkadir representing Ilorin Central Constituency elucidated that, there is no concession agreement signed between Kwara State Government and Crystal Group of Company to execute the project.

Other lawmakers in their submissions were unanimous that State Government proceed on award of rehabilitation and rebuilding of Kwara Hotels to a competent contractor for effective management by the state government.

Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon Yakubu Salihu Danladi pointed out today’s resolutions superceded earlier decision of the House on the concessioning of Kwara Hotels to Crystal Group of Company.
