KWASU loses another staff

Hameed Adekunle Hanafi, another staff of Kwara State University, Malete, is reportedly dead.

The deceased, a lecturer and Associate Professor died on Monday in Ilorin, the state capital, after a brief illness.

Five days ago, the deputy bursar of the university, Abdullahi Olaitan Ayuba, died while watching the match between Super Eagles and South Africa in the 2023 African Cup of Nations.

In 2022, the late Hanafi joined the services of Kwara State University. He was born on December 27, 1968, in Babaloke, Moro Local Government Area of the state.

He lectured at Kogi State University, School of Law, Kampala International University, Uganda, Faculty of Law, Ayigba and Al-Hikamah University, Faculty of Law, Ilorin, among others.

Hanafi left behind a wife and children.
