Hon . Kabiru Maipalace, a House of Representatives member, has said the Federal Government will deploy more military troops to Zamfara.

Hon. Maipalace revealed this yesterday when he paid condolence visits to the Tsafe and Magazu communities in Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara over the recent bandits’ attacks.

Recently, bandits attacked the two communities, killed many, and kidnapped scores of victims.

The lawmaker, representing the Gusau/Tsafe federal constituency at the National Assembly, said: “I will do everything possible to facilitate deployment of more security troops to the area.

“Therefore, I want you to exercise a little patience; more security troops will be stationed here to beef up the security of lives and property in the area.”

Hon. Maipalace, during the visit, held an interactive session with members of the two communities.

At the Emir’s palace, Tsafe, Maipalace described the attack as ugly and disheartening.

“I am here to condole with you people over the recent bandits’ attacks in this town.

“It is very unfortunate that the recent attack had led to the killing of our local government Commander of Community Protection Guard (CPG).”
