Kwara govt set to commission Jebba Waterworks

Kwara State Government has concluded all arrangements to commission the newly constructed Jebba Waterworks in the Moro Local Government Area of the state.

It is part of the symbolic activities to mark the first anniversary of the second term of the Kwara State Government under the leadership of His Excellency Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON, through the State Ministry of Water Resources.

To this end, the State Ministry of Water Resources is using this medium to invite the general public to the Grand Commissioning of the newly constructed edifice located in the ancient town of Jebba.

His Excellency, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, is expected to on Wednesday, May 29th, 2024, commission the new waterworks project, which is one of the laudable Government’s efforts towards providing access to a potable water supply to the people of the state in order to help curb waterborne diseases and improving the level of sanitation and hygiene among the populace.

The event will be held at the premises of the Jebba Waterworks at 12 noon prompt.
