The attention of the Osun State chapter of National Youth Council of Nigeria has been drawn to an amateur video at a bar supposedly regarded as the press release of the National Youth Council of Nigeria President , Sukubo Saraigbe Sukubo .

The expression of the declaration suggested either the president was wrongly informed or the declaration is a show of money which has exchanged hand in some quarters.

In a statement released by the Coordinator, Voluntary Youth Organization in Osun, Kamil Badmus. He said, we are not moved by such and remain committed to the ethnos of omoluabi in Osun state and at that, we will not allow any external factor to cause problem for us in the state.

“We are equally aware that the video released is not far from the antics of the Commissioner of youth to exonerate himself from the crisis he is creating in the state.

The record must be set straight that the position of the constitution is clear on setting up of electoral committee Article 11.3 section 2, XXV and which produced Com. Abdullahi Abass as the duly elected electoral chairman”.

He said further, National Youth Council of Nigeria, Osun State chapter over the years have remained committed to her bye law as well as the National constitution. We equally want to inform the National President that Article 3 , line I is clear on the supremacy of the constitution over any order or declaration as to null and void .

It is not only surprising, but disappointing and crisis motivated for the president to say a charade of kangaroo caretakers would participate in an election when the constitution is clear, is this not a crisis motivated statement?.

The Voluntary youth organisations in Osun state won’t allow him to turn osun state to what River state was turned into as proper steps would be taken in accordance with the provision of the constitution.

We want to re-affirm that Com. Adetunji Ajala remains the Chairman of National Youth Council of Nigeria in Osun state and any caretaker committee set up remain unconstitutional and illegal, Badmus added.
