Gunmen Storm Ogbomoso Hotel, Kidnap Hotelier, Others

Gunmen have kidnapped a hotelier, Oyedokun Oyeniyi and many others agbo hotel in Ajaawa, Ogbomoso, the headquarters of Ogo-Oluwa Local Government of Oyo State.

The incident reportedly occurred around 10:30 pm on Saturday, throwing residents of the sleepy community into panic, with conflicting numbers of victims as at the time of filing this report.

Meanwhile, Oyo Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) Adewale Osifeso confirmed the incident,ans indicated that police would soon confirm the actual number of victims.

The gunmen were said to have shot sporadically into the air to create fear among people immediately they invaded the hotel located at the back of CAC Primary School in the town before abducting the victims.

Some residents said the police, Amotekun Corps and hunters had started combing the bushes in search of the kidnappers and their victims.
