2023 Ballon d’Or award: Ederson, Martinez, Courtios, Ramsdale, Ter Stegen, nominated for Yashin trophy for the best goalkeeper

Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana, Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsdale, Manchester City’s Ederson and Emi Martinez have all been nominated for the Yachine Trophy.

Ballon d’Or — Yashin trophy for the best goalkeeper, list unveiled and four Premier League goalkeepers made the cut.

Onana enjoyed a great season in the UEFA Champions League with Inter Milan last season, finishing second after defeat to Man City.

Ederson seems to be favorite after he claimed treble with Manchester City last season. While Aaron Ramsdale helped Gunners finished second in the league.

Emiliano Martinez of Aston Villa played a key role to Argentina winning the 2022 World Cup in Qatar last year.

Yassine Bounou helped Sevilla win the Europa league last season. The former Sevilla number one also helped Morocco reach the quarter final at the World Cup in Qatar.

Barcelona goalkeeper Marc Ter Stegen helped Xavi Hernandez side win the La Liga last term.
