Putin meets Kim Jong Un over arms trade
Russian President Vladimir Putin has landed in North Korea for a two-day state visit and was received by North Korea’s ruler, Kim Jong Un, at the airport in Pyongyang.
Observers say the two-day visit will also concentrate on further arms deliveries from Pyongyang, which Moscow intends to use in its war against Ukraine.
The central part of the visit started on Wednesday, 19th of June, the Russian news agency Interfax reported on Wednesday.
The day would kick off with a meeting between Putin and Kim on Kim Il Sung Square, Pyongyang’s urban and symbolic centre.
Protracted negotiations were then planned, first in one-on-one talks, then on a larger scale
