YATTIYR Scholarship Initiative organize Kwara Brain Point Challenge In All Public Secondary Schools

Improving people’s lives and sustainable development stems from the access to quality education.

Ever since establishment, the YATTIYR SCHOLARSHIP INITIATIVE has endeavoured to meet up with and achieve this goal through helping individual students especially indigents, enrol and stay in school.

Kwara Brain Point Challenge (KBPC) is an interschool quiz competition among public senior secondary schools in Ilorin Metropolis.

KBPC is one of the projects of YSI focused on boosting literacy academic competence among public school students within the state. This project is also proudly supported by the Kwara state Ministry of Education and Fizmayor Ltd., UK.

A total of 69 schools successfully participated in the first stage of the competition held on November 17th, 2018 at four local governments ( Ilorin south, Ilorin west, Asa and Ilorin east).

Progressively, the ten best schools based on cummulative performance have been selected for the semi final stage slated for November 24th, 2018 at Queen Elizabeth School Hall.

The schools are:
Queen Elizabeth Secondary School
Ansar-u-l Islam Secondary School
Bishop Smith Secondary School
Government Day Secondary School
Senior Secondary School, Ita Alamu
Senior Secondary School, Ero omo
Unity Community Secondary School
Government Day Secondary School, Gaa Akanbi
Government Day Secondary School, Oke Sunnah
Olokuta Senior Secondary School

Six (6) schools would qualify for the Finals slated for 8th of December, 2018 at Kwara State Banquet Hall.
