Ondo 2020: APC Unity Forum Donates Money To Olusola Oke For Purchase Of Nomination Form

The Unity Forum of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State and friends of Olusola Oke (SAN) have donated N22.5million to the aspirant in Ondo 2020 governorship election to purchase nomination form.

They presented the funds to Olusola Oke on Saturday in Akure to procure APC expression of interest and nomination form to enable him to contest in the party’s primary slated for July 20, 2020.

While Presenting the fund,on behalf of the unity forum, the representative of the leader of the APC Unity Forum who is also a former deputy governor of Ondo State, Ali Olanusi represented by Afe Olowookere.

Olanusi expressed optimism that Olusola Oke will emerge as the candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress for Ondo 2020 Governorship election on October 16.

He urged the party’s National Working Committee to conduct free and fair primaries.

Accepting the donation , Olusola Oke appreciated all his supporters, noting that he was surprised by donation of the unity forum.

Oke stressed that it is the confirmation of his endorsement by the Forum. FactualTimes reports that the Unity Forum had in May 2019 picked Oke as their consensus aspirant ahead of APC primaries.

”I am on the mission to safe APC from sliding into the hands of the opposition and address growing poverty in Ondo State”. He added

He however, opined the people of ondo state are tried of the current administration,which according to him necessitated his desire to contest.

oke expressed optimism that the crisis going on at the national level of the party will be resolved before the upcoming party primary.
