Buni speaks on APC National Convention

All Progressive Congress (APC) Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) Chairman and also Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni, commended the Protocols Subcommittee, he said they have helped to instill confidence in the members of the party ahead of the 2022 National Convention on Saturday, March 26.

After being briefed on Saturday 19th of March on the activities of the committee by the Chairman of the Sub-committee who’s also Governor of Kano State, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, and other members at his Abuja Residence, Chairman Buni believes that the committee has done a lot to encourage the members of the party of their confidence and that the date of the convention is sacrosanct.Buni is assured that the upcoming convention to be organized by the party is one which will have a global outlook and all members of the party should work in harmony to achieve this.

Buni noted that the next most important committee in the organisation of the convention is the sub-committee and it is only second to the Main Convention planning committee.

He noted that the choice of the Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje as the chairman and other members is due to their track records of diligence and great achievements in prior engagements.

Buni charged the committee to intensify their efforts and work hand in hand with other committees, and to also get In touch with the Protocol Office of the State House, Abuja in view of the fact that the President, Muhammadu Buhari and the Vice President Yemi Osinbajo would be attending the national convention.

The Chairman of the sub-committee Governor Ganduje thanked the National Chairman for finding him worthy to serve, and he assured him that he will make sure to work with all necessary quarters to ensure a smooth, hitch free and successful convention is organized.

Senator Adeleke Mamora, former speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly and Minister of State for Health; Senator Godswill Akpabio, Former Akwa Ibom State Governor and Minister of Niger Delta Affairs; Abdullahi Shuaib, Head of APC protocol unit, among others are the members of the committee
