As it is the culture when an election is coming, candidates across parties have been meeting electorate to influence endorsement with cash and gifts ahead the 2023 elections. But for the Executive Governor of Kwara state AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the story is different as the endorsements he gets are not influenced with cash nor gifts, but his achievements since he was elected to steer the affairs of Kwara state in 2019.

It is AbdulRazaq’s adversaries like the Kwara oppositions who would link his well-deserved endorsements to cash and gifts, going by his unprecedented achievements since he assumed office in 2019. No doubt, AbdulRazaq has not performed below the expectations of well-meaning Kwarans, and that is why many of them cannot do without saying ‘May AA Succeed’ in a day. However, as they say it, it troubles the minds of the opposition parties, and most especially the Kwara PDP whose fake boys’ currency is propaganda and fake news. Is there any other way to identify the enemies of Kwara state?

For those who witnessed how things were in Kwara state before AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, they would agree with me that Kwara was in a mess. In those inglorious days, the monies meant to develop the state and pay its hardworking workers, were aggressively looted by its handlers who played God. Hence, all sectors were haemorrhaging. As basic as salaries are, these looters couldn’t afford to pay the civil servants their salaries in full. Imagine!

AbdulRazaq’s emergence changed the story and put Kwara back on track . No more half salary payment. And those who are due for promotion are being promoted asap. Let’s not forget that the last promotion done was years before May 29, 2019. Disheartening. What about the minimum wage that was an issue for the rejected PDP? It’s not an issue under the leadership of AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq. Kwara schools and roads that were left in a bad state are receiving serious attention under the leadership of AbdulRazaq. Gradually, Kwara is recuperating.

These and others are the reasons why Kwarans are endorsing Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s second term bid. They prefer to be with the man who took them from Egypt back to the State of Harmony than to elect Bukola Saraki’s stooge whom even the Kwara PDP’s fake boys have been finding difficult to promote. Of course, the indigenes of Kwara cannot afford another yaman yaman reigns of terror and affliction. Therefore, for AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s reelection, the coast is clear. Insha Allah, it is AA till 2027!
