Elders in Babanloma community of Ifelodun Local Government in Kwara State have reaffirmed their commitment to delivering complete victory for Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and all other candidates of the All Progressives Congress in their axis.

Fidel Info reports that The elders spoke under the aegis of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Elders’ Forum in Share (Wards Three and Four Babanloma) at a strategic meeting, promising to continue upholding party loyalty and discipline.

At the strategic meeting, they also review plans ahead of the Presidential and National Assembly Elections, slated for February 25, 2023, and States Governorship and Houses of Assembly Elections fixed for March 11, 2023. The APC elders maintained that there would be no compromise, or any coalition with any individual or party, to trade APC votes.

The Coordinator of the Forrum, Elder Nicholas Agboola, emphasised the need to reciprocate Governor AbdulRazaq’s kind gesture in appointments and infrastructure to Babanloma community, saying no stone would be left unturned to make sure all APC candidates are returned elected at the polls.

According to Agboola, “APC is far ahead of others in terms of reach and achievements in the Community. We should translate this to voting capacity by returning all our candidates beginning with our Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu and the National Assembly members, Senator Lola Ashiru and Hon Ismail Tijani for the House of Representatives.

“Of course, the March 11, 2023, which involves the state governorship and House of Assembly Elections, remain very dear to us.

“That day we shall equally return as duly elected, Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq and Hon Rasak Owolabi for their respective offices. We don’t have any excuse. We must deliver”, he said.

In their own remarks, Elders Adeniran Aliyu, Samuel Jimoh, Mathew Kolade, and Pastor Oluwole Osundeyi, expressed joy at the existing unity and cohesion among the party leaders in the two wards, particularly between Hon Rasaki Owolabi, representing Share/Oke-Ode Constituency at the State Assembly and Barr Lanre Jimoh Falola, with their supporters, which they maintained, had boosted APC membership to achieve greater heights.

The Babanloma elders directed aggressive mobilisation and awareness campaigns to educate supporters on the modalities for the conduct of the elections.
