JUST IN: APC picks Idahosa as Edo Gov Deputy candidate

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has picked Hon. Dennis Idahosa as its deputy governorship candidate for the forthcoming Edo Governorship election.

Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the APC National Chairman, and Sen. Ajibola Bashiru, the National Secretary, are to present Senator Monday Okpebholo, the party’s flag bearer and his running mate to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Villa today.

Idahosa will replace Hon. Omoregie Ogbeide-Ihama who was picked by the governorship candidate last week as his running mate.

It was reported that the House of Representatives member, emerged on Sunday night after a prolonged meeting by stakeholders from Edo, the party leadership and Vice President Kashim Shettima.

Present at the meeting were the party’s candidate, Senator Monday Okpebholo, ex-Governor of Edo, Senator Adams Oshiomole and Hon. Idahosa.
