He also urged them to see their new assignment as an act of worship as they are expected to not only endure the many realities of serving diverse people with varying values and needs but also to ensure the overall welfare of Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims in Nigeria and Saudi Arabia.

Responding, the new Chairman of the Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Board, Prof. Mashood Jimba, appreciated the government for the rare opportunity to serve the State.

He said that although the assignment before them was enormous, they were ready to put everything into making it work and protecting the name of the government and the people of the State.
