Application Procedures And Requirements For Nigerian Army’s Short Service Recruitment

The Nigerian Army (NA) has opened the application portal for the 2024 Direct Short Service Commission Course (DSSCC).

The Army revealed this in a statement on its official social media pages, saying the application portal, which opened on Friday, January 19, 2024, would be closed on Friday, February 23, 2024.

It urged interested and qualified individuals to visit its recruitment portal to complete their applications.

According to the post, the application is free and open to all interested civilians and serving military personnel.

The post reads, “This is to inform the general public that the online application for Direct Short Service Commission Course 28/2024 has commenced. Application starts on 19 January 2024 and ends on 23 February 2024.

“All applications must be submitted online not later than 23 February 2024. Visit recruitment.army.mil.ng. Application Is Free.”

Eligibility Requirements:

• Minimum Age – 20

• Maximum Age – 40

• Minimum Height – 1.65

• Minimum Grade – Second Class (Lower Division)
