NAUS meet Comptroller general of Immigration Service, set to partner with NIS over students welfarism

The executives of National Association of University Students, NAUS CMC Ondo State Chapter ably led by its Chairman Comr. Akerele Greatness Abimbola meet the Comptroller of Immigration Service CIS Ambrose Akinrinsola and other head of department of Nigeria Immigration Service Ondo State Command at their office igbatoro road Akure, Ondo state.

In his address, the Chairman of NAUS CMC Ondo Comr Akerele Greatness Abimbola expressed concerns about the challenges facing the students in obtaining visas, including delays and high rejection rates.

He said further about the issues related to the immigration process requirements and how the Nigerian students can benefit from the process, as well as explore ways to enhance collaboration and support between NAUS and NIS.

CIS Ambrose Akinrinsola explained the requirements and procedures for student visa applications and assured that they would work to streamline the process.

“The necessary documents and requirements for student visa applications, including proof of admission, financial support, and health insurance and also there is recent changes to immigration regulations which have impact on international students, Akinrinsola said”

The comptroller general pledge the support of immigration service to the Nigerian students in term of collaboration and support, including workshops, information sessions, and advisory services which will facilitate a smoother immigration process for Nigerian students
