Gov AbdulRazaq makes fresh appointment

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has sent the name of Dr Abdulafeez Abolore to the Kwara State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation as commissioner.

The Speaker of the House, Rt Hon Yakubu Salihu Danladi, revealed this while reading the letter from the governor during today’s plenary.

AbdulRazaq said that the action is in line with section 192, (1) – 5 of the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The Governor said that he has taken due care to comply with section 14 (1) of the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The Speaker has, however, asked Dr Abdulafeez Abolore to submit photocopies of his curriculum vita in 35 file jackets before the close of work to the office of the Clerk on Friday 1st of March 2024, while the screening comes up on Tuesday 5th March 2024.
