BREAKING: Again, gunmen kill about 16 in Benue fresh attack

Once again, tragedy has hit Gwer East Local Government Area of Benue State as 16 reportedly lost their lives to bandits attack.

The bandits invaded several communities within the local government area on Thursday night, causing fear and chaos.

A rival militia group had earlier targeted the Gbagir community in Ukum LGA of the state, leading to the tragic loss of no less than 40 lives.

Eyewitnesses from the communities reported that the bandits, suspected to be armed herders, stormed up to 11 communities and killed several people and burnt down many houses.
