Abducted Bauchi Traditional Ruler Found Dead

Alhaji Garba Badamasi, the village head of Riruwai in Lame District of Bauchi Emirate in Toro Local Government Area of Bauchi State, has been reportedly murdered.

According to a report, Badamasi was earlier abducted by gunmen who stormed his home on Friday, March 15, 2024.

A source who preferred not to be mentioned said the gunmen went straight into the palace of the late traditional ruler from where they kidnapped him.

The late traditional ruler was said to have spent one day in captivity before he was eventually murdered and his corpse dumped somewhere in the village.
