Osun APC Celebrates Oba Famodun On Birthday Anniversary

The Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has congratulated the Owa of Igbajoland, Oba Gboyega Famodun, on his birthday anniversary.

According to the state chairman of the party, Sooko Tajudeen Lawal, in a statement issued by the party’s Director of Media and Information, Chief Kola Olabisi, in Osogbo, the Osun State capital today, the celebration of the monarch on his birthday anniversary who is the immediate-past state chairman of the APC is a matter of compulsion because of what God has used him for to improve the fortune of the party in the state.

Lawal who described the Owa of Igbajoland as a quintessential party administrator stated that the former state party chairman understands the party administration just the way he is familiar with his palm.

The state party chairman disclosed that Oba Famodun has become an oracle as far as the party administration is concerned as it is to his credit that he has midwifed so many political parties in the state in his journey of life.

He stated that there is no way that the political history of Osun State would be completed without dedicating a deserving portion of it to the Owa of Igbajoland.

Lawal explained further that another attribute of Oba Famodun that he would continue to admire is his combination of philanthropism with partisan politics as he gives out freely to the needy.

In the state chairman’s words: “The Owa of Igbajoland is every inch a monarch as his carriage and manner he discusses issues reflect his royal background.

“People mill round the ‘Birthday Boy’ as the state party chairman and as the monarch of his town just as ants do to sugar.

“Oba Gboyega Famodun is a caring father of his children, loving husband of his wife and he is always there for members of his biological family.

“May God Almighty continue to spare the life of Oba Famodun to enable the younger ones drink ceaselessly from his fountain of wisdom and knowledge.

“On behalf of my family, members of the state executive officers of our party and all the members of the party in the state, I am congratulating Oba Gboyega Famodun, the Owa of Igbajoland, on his this year’s birthday anniversary”, Lawal stated.
